Transcripts from JNTU Kakinada (JNTUK)

I am sharing experience of getting Transcripts from JNTUKakinada. The same process is applicable for colleges affiliated to JNTUK. This was done in February 2017 for getting transcripts for B.Tech. degree and most probably should be the same for other degree holders (Please check at the enquiry counter).

Required Documents:

1. Original Documents of the Required Transcripts
2. Take required number of xerox copies for each document
3. Filled Application Form
4. Online Payment Receipt or DD
5. Identity proof copy and original
6. A4 sized Envelopes to keep the transcripts

Process:

1. You can take DD in the name of The Registrar, JNTU Kakinada, payable at Kakinada from any Nationalized Bank.
Make the payment for Transcripts at the following URL:
The fee for each transcript is Rs 40/-. So,the student has to pay total amount depending on the no of transcripts applied i.e, no of transcripts * 40 rs
Please check the site for the latest charges.

2. Get ALL the xerox copies of all documents attested by the Principal of the College where you studied.

3. Get the Application form also attested by the Principal of the College where you studied.

4. If possible, get the payment receipt also attested.

5. Take the required documents and go to JNTU Kakinada Examination Branch. Submit the documents and envelopes at the Counter.
Better to go before 11am to the counter so you can receive the documents on the same day.

6. Wait till the evening. After 5pm, check at the Counter. I got mine at 6:30 pm. So, need to be patient.

7. They will give you the xerox copies attested by the Registrar. Also, the envelope flap is attested by the Registrar. Check all the copies and envelope flaps.

8. They might ask to show the Identity Proof while taking the attested copies.

You can get the Application Form here - Transcript Application

Note:
If any other transcripts are required (Ex: Original Degree) which is not in the application form, please add an entry to the application form and include in the above set.

Hope this finds helpful to some of you.

  1. Hi,

I reside outside India and need my transcripts. Can I have my father go apply and collect it on my behalf?

    1. As far as I know, the student should be present while applying and collecting the transcripts. This is because they ask you for the Original ID to confirm if they are taking from the right student. But I am not aware if there is an authorization mechanism.

    1. I don't think WES will contact again for certificates. They might check for authenticity by calling the University. If they had contacted again for certificates, we would be charged some amount and we would be knowing. So, i dont think WES will ask for certificates again. We are sending them in a Sealed envelope to maintain Authenticity of the documents.
